I've been wanting to try
these for awhile, but have been a little scared to begin. You see... I've never tried patchwork, quilting, or used bias tape. Even though this is such a simple little project, it was the unknown that scared me.
Here's the fronts.
And here's the backs.
And yes these came with many, many mistakes, but only because I didn't know what the heck I was doing. Oh well, handmade goods wouldn't be so special if they were perfect, right?
These are so cute, and functional! Nice job Gina!
ReplyDeletethose look so cute, great way to start on the patch work. . nice and small! You should try a rag quilt sometime, those are super easy (that was my first quilting attempt). I was just looking at my crusty pot holders wondering if it was time to do them in. . maybe i should put all my scraps together instead. What's in the inside to keep it heat resistant?
